Cumbria Police Authority Wants Your Views in Aspatria

Cumbria Police Authority has invited the Aspatria Community to have their say on policing in the area.

The Authority is holding one of its regular Police Community Liaison Forums at The Beacon Hill School, Aspatria on Tuesday 16 March, beginning at 7:30 pm.

The Forum provides an opportunity for the community to make their views known directly to members of the Police Authority and senior police officers from West Cumbria. This information is used to develop policing priorities and build public confidence.

The meeting will be chaired by Alan Barry, a Police Authority Member from the area.

Alan Barry, Cumbria Police Authority’s Member, said: “Cumbria Police Authority wants to hear your views and I would like to take this opportunity to invite the local community to come along and have their say.

The meeting will also include a presentation from the Constabulary on Drugs.”
