Cumbria Police Authority want to hear your views
Cumbria Police Authority Members want to hear the views of local people around anti-social behaviour issues.

Police Authority Members were in the Lanes Shopping Centre, Carlisle, on Friday 23 April talking to local people about issues that affect them in their area. Over one hundred people took part in the consultation exercise. The Police Authority is responsible for making sure that Cumbria Constabulary is effective at fighting crime and provides value for money and are looking at different ways to enable people to voice their concerns.
Ray Cole, Chair of Cumbria Police Authority, said: “As an Authority we have a statutory duty to engage with members of the public around policing issues, we are taking a new approach, and going out into communities to find out peoples views, this is proving very successful.”
