The work previously carried out by the Personnel Committee is now carried out by the Authority's People & Performance Committee.
The Committee was responsible for reviewing human resources, health and safety, staff welfare and training. Quarterly data is provided relating to sickness levels, recruitment and retention and the establishment and stength for police officers, staff, special constables and police community support officers. It also monitors the training function and business plan of the Constabulary and receives information relating to any Police Staff discipline and what action has been taken to identify any emerging trends.
