Christine worked as a Physiotherapist in the NHS for 20years. She was appointed as a Magistrate in 1993 and is chair of the Adult, Youth and Family courts. Previously she was a Magistrate member of Cumbria Probation Board for 7 years where she was chair of the Performance Committee prior to being apppointed a Magistrate Member of Cumbria Police Authority in 2003.
