Jill is a single parent, has three children and a granddaughter, and has lived in Askam in Furness for nearly 8 years. In 2008 she was elected as a Borough Councillor and in 2009 as County Councillor for Dalton North.
She became a member of the Police Authority in June 2009 and it has now become one of the main focuses within her work. Her main interests lie with community and children and young people for whom she is official spokesperson for Barrow Borough.
Jill is a passionate person who works extremely hard within her appointed roles.
